The new minimum system requirements for GOM Video Converter are as follows:
- OS: Windows 8.1(32bit/64bit), 8(32bit/64bit), 7(32bit/64bit), Vista(32bit/64bit), XP SP2 or better.
- CPU: Intel Pentium 4 CPU、AMD Athlon 64 CPU or better.
- GOM Picker: Internet Explorer 8 or better.
- If you are using Windows 2000 or Windows XP SP1, or if your computer’s CPU does not meet the requirements listed above, please download and install the compatible version of GOM Video Converter 1.1.0.60 (GOMVIDEOCONVERTER2KSETUP_ENG.EXE).

GOMVIDEOCONVERTER2KSETUP_ENG.EXE is 2013/10/24 version of GOM Video Converter with the following changes applied:
- Improved Security
- Improved the internal source filter and decoder.
- Gretech ASF Source Filter 1 and Gretech ASF Source Filter 2 have been consolidated into “Gretech ASF Source Filter”
- Gretech MPEG Source Filter 1 and 2 have been consolidated into a single filter, and the source filter selection UI has been removed.
- Corrected an issue where MOV files recorded with CASIO digital cameras could not be recognized properly.
- Improved conversion for certain AVI files that contain RAW RGB data
- Improved conversion for files with multiple audio tracks / corrected an issue that occurred when changing the selected audio track
- Corrected an issue where the total play time of some WMV files was not being displayed correctly
- Corrected an issue where the software would crash when converting certain MKV files.

- Corrected an issue where the video aspect ratio would not be applied properly when using the Smart Resize resize filter.
