Veeam 8.6 P1 fixes Microsoft 365 file recovery
The patch addresses restores that returned folders without files and backup browsing that showed outdated versions as current.
Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 8.6 P1 (8.6.0.5011), released October 27, fixes SharePoint and OneDrive recovery. For OneDrive, the product supports work and school accounts, not personal accounts.
Changes
- Folder restores: fixed restores that could return folders without files and finish with a warning.
- File versions: fixed outdated SharePoint or OneDrive items being displayed as current when browsing a backup.
In Veeam Restore Portal, users select a service and a restore point, representing the backup state at a particular time. The portal displays data backed up in that restore point, from which users can select files to restore.
